Work with Young People
Helping young people to make informed career choices is something that Life Matters is passionate about. After spending all that time at school and possibly college, it would be nice to think that you've invested your time wisely and are headed off on the right path.
You may have questions such as:
- Which careers would really suit me?
- Which A levels/degree should I take?
- What about vocational training?
- I'm leaving school - what next?
- I've finished my degree – but I'm not sure which path to take?
A combination of psychometric tests, personality profiling and coaching techniques will be used to help you develop a life map with goals for the future.
Rebecca is trained to use the Morrisby Guidance Service - linking careers interests with a set of tests which assess aptitude and work based personality, to produce a detailed guidance report that suggests specific careers. This profile is suitable for young people through to adults. For more information see www.morrisby.com.
Packages are available to help both individuals and school groups make these all important decisions.
"Rebecca was very helpful in encouraging me to look into the future and help me to plan ahead. I got a clearer view of the life I wanted to live and the job I wanted to do. We looked at my personality and skills and the sort of hobbies I have and what I’m interested in. I now know where I want to be( A BA in Events Management and pursue a career in that field), and what it takes for me to achieve that aim. I have set this as my personal target! Thanks Rebecca."
