About Life Matters

Life Matters is owned and operated by Rebecca Cain. Rebecca graduated in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the University of Nottingham. During the degree she realised that she had little passion for the subject, and on graduation the only thing she knew was that didn't want a career relating to Chemistry! This personal experience has given some understanding of the dilemmas facing people in making the right career choice.

Rebecca is a Graduate of the Institute of Personnel and Development and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Executive Coaching and a Postgraduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology from Leeds Metropolitan University.

With over 12 years experience in the Corporate H.R. field, she established Life matters in 2001 and runs this alongside raising a family of 4 lovely boys!

Coupled with the freelance Careers work, she also acts as an associate in other H.R. and coaching businesses, working extensively in the field of Executive Coaching and acting as coach tutor on coach training programmes operated by Leeds Met.

Rebecca has a passion for helping people to make the most of their full potential and in helping them work out what type of work would suit them best.

Rebecca is based in West Yorkshire near to the cities of Leeds and Bradford.
